Earlier today I was going through some jobs on Savvion and found an interesting graph on SimplyHired.com. It was good to see that the average salary of a Savvion developer was higher than others in this segment. Here is the graph

Average Salary of Jobs with Titles Matching Your Search

savvion developer

$90,000

j2ee developer

$80,000

java developer

$79,000

web developer

$70,000

I think probably the fact that Savvion happens to be highly niche & that BPM developers have an insight into Business could be one of the reasons. Nevertheless BPM professionals provide more business centric solutions than pure Java/J2EE Engineers. More reason to get into Business Process Management.
