Position: Principal TIBCO Architect

Location: Singapore (We are open to move people to Singapore for this role)


Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership to others.

Demonstrated ability to make appropriate scoping and prioritization decisions.

Works with Project Manager and customer representatives to create state-of-the-art solutions in the areas of business process management and application integration.

Must have the ability to provide technical leadership, work with customers to identify requirements, and must have the technical foresight needed to design and develop cost effective solutions that meet functional and performance requirements

Must show initiative and provide leadership in a cooperative environment

Must be willing to travel and enjoy working with customers

Must be familiar with Accelerated Value Framework (AVF) with emphasis on Architecture Methodology

Provides pre-sales support demonstrating the value of Professional Services Group(PSG) services as part of a total solution to prospective clients

Provides Timely Reporting as Required by Management
Qualifications Requried:

At least 10-15 years experience with architectural experience or responsibilities. Should include at least 5 years of EAI development experience using TIBCO

MS Computer Science or equivalent

Strong client facing skills – presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communications

Ability to identify, define and build new business opportunities

5 years experience leading the analysis and design of EAI architecture

Experience mapping business requirements to technology capabilities, identifying gaps and omissions and designing end-to-end solutions.

Experience implementing medium- to large-scale EAI applications in production; excellent understanding of the issues involved

Experience with developing multi-threaded and event-driven systems design and message-oriented middleware e.g. TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO Integration Manager, TIBCO BusinessWorks (and any other TIBCO products preferred), IBM MQ Series, Vitria, Tuxedo/Q.

Strong working knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems

Formal experience with development methodologies including UML

JAVA J2EE experience including experience with JMS

Strong working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, DB2) and ability to design DB schemas and interface with it using ODBC/JDBC

Strong problem identification and problem solving skills

Must be able to function as a team leader, providing direction to less senior members of the development team.

Must have the ability to structure deliverables to maximize reuse and productization where applicable

Should be able to independently develop architecture for small and medium size projects

Ability to participate in the development of project plans including estimates for the entire life cycle of the project

This is a permanent role based in Singapore. You may be based in any part of the globe but if you would like to work in sunny Singapore then here's the opportunity.
